30+ horsepower laser






30 hp? :o I doubt that even the power consumption is that high....
 
yeah I'm selling that laser and boy let me tell you it is at least 30 horse power. That thing can move. I'm guessing its top speed is around 299,792,458 m/s

299,792,458 m/s = approx 300,000,000 m/s = speed of light :D
 
Yea I noticed but I was thinking that he really is luke0 on ebay :-/
 
yeah that is actually my laser. I don't know how the HP got in there but i think I'll leave it.
 
:o :o Hmm i didnt know you could measure lasers in HP ;D Maybe it just orks better on ebay, since i doubt they could be bothered doing the math ;D

So what's the horsepower rating anyway? :-/ How much it has been used or something like that?
 
I am not sure why ebay decided to put that as one of the option for the product category but it has been sold now and will be shipping out today. I am going to miss it dearly. It was my favorite laser. Can't wait for the 200mW replacement to get here though ;D
 
The only reason I clicked on this thread was because of the "horsepower" comet. How many gallops does it take for a 10 sec. duty cycle? ;D Good stuff.
