3.6V vs. 3V

My laser came yesterday and because it can use both 3.6 and 3V batteries i tried to see the difference.
The first picture is of a 3V lithium battery.

and this picture is with my 3.6V rechargeable lithium

So as you can see, if your laser can use them; buy some 3.6V batteries for your laser!

Did the 3v battery come with the laser? If so, it might just be a bad battery, usually the batteries they send with the laser are the cheapest of the cheap. If you have a multimeter try testing the voltage of that 3v cell.

If that battery isn't dead than that means the laser you used isn't regulated.

i just tested them, the one that came with the laser is only outputting 2V and the 3.6V is putting out 3.5V So that makes more sense

and do you think that the battery that came with the laser is rechargeable?

Doubt it. But hey, when it dies try and charge it, what could possibly happen?

I'm gonna guess and say that the battery is not rechargeable. Please don't go see if it is. ;D

That's if you are lucky. Worst case scenario this could happen.

hahaha nice. Just a update on my laser. I pointed at some clouds tonight and you could see the dot on the cloud.
