3.6v-4.2volt powersupply for 405?

I have a laser host that is rechargable with a plug in cable "no taking batteries in and out forever" and want to know if a 8x build or at least a 6x build could run off the power supply with a different driver? Who can build such a build for this voltage? HighTechDealz.com oly sells theres for 9volt builds that really sucks! Help!
