Hey guys, so this is my second DIY build using an Ehgemus host, flex drive @ 900mA, and a 635 diode.

Some GPU thermal pads for some flexdrive-axiz cooling, just in case! And shortage protection.

Wire is soldered to the spring, and them some thermal adhesive. Make sure to check for continuity!

Letting the adhesive dry infront of a radiator.

Some arctic silver for better heat conduction.

Wow thats impressive. I never would have thought to add a spring and some glue to the end of an aixiz housing as a contact point, that was very smart.

Great job.... one critique though. I would have soldered the positive wire to the bottom of the spring, that way when the spring becomes compressed it wont put strain on the solder point.

But other than that, flawless job :gj:

Thanks guys  - does feel much better than just getting the completed package in the mail.

And good call on the solder point - always gotta watch out for those points of failure!

Great idea for the spring! seems that would solve numerous problems with installing a battery contact for my hosts +1 :))))
