Hello I am having a hard time finding a diode driver I was told that you can use a resistor, It will not run constant just on and off for a quick demonstration. I was told you can use a resistor for this purpose, can someone let me know the value? thanks so much Scoob

Hmmmm....just a thought, have you tried the search facility? try "laser diode driver"

If that doesnt work try kryptonite.
 
A resistor is the worst idea in the history of bad ideas....Or you can just PM kipkay :crackup:.

I was a gas laser guy since before diode lasers were ever widely used, I did a lot of reading since then.

Your "ignorance" is easy to remedy.
