25$ 200 mw Green Laser pointer On Bestlaserpointers.com is a scam?

Hi im new to lasers and i wanted to buy an 200mw laser pointer on Bestlaserpointers.com and i wanted to ask lpf for info

Just resellers, probably not a scam but it's safer to buy from eBay or some other escrow that is able to refund you guaranteed if the laser arrives defective

Depends on what you mean by scam. Will you receive the product you order from them? Probably. Is it really a 200mw green? Most certainly not. As far as I can see, they are adverting the so-called "laser 303" as 200mw, which is usually around 80 mw (as green), not to mention that it's heavily overpriced. Of course, they have some other lasers labelled as 200 mw, but I'm pretty sure they are no different (incorrect mw and overpriced). If you find sanwu or jetlasers too pricy, just check oxlasers on aliexpress or laserpointerstore.com for something that is more reasonably priced. Looking around on ebay or aliexpress in general might be a good idea as well.

No problem, just keep in mind that on ebay or aliexpress they are not allowed to indicate the real power of their lasers, because in many countries anything above 5mw is illegal. So it can be somewhat difficult to figure out the real power of the lasers there.
