I have been reading a lot on LPF and I have ordered various parts to build a blue laser thanks to the great info herein.
This has got to be the nicest forum I have ever visited, no bashing or whining...so far

I saw a 22x DVD burner at mwave dot com
Put AA73400 in the search box

It sells for $23 + $8 shipping to the SE.
Does anyone know which type of LD this contains?

Anyone have a list of which DVD drives contain a Long die Open can diode ???

It is the long open can.

You can get one from one of the sellers here for about $13. Look in the Buy/Sell/Trade board here for an LPC sled.
