200 mW Green Laser - Cannot pop a balloon?

It is VERY visible at far as i can see (i tried about 100 meters)..

What is the output diameter of the beam? If it is more than 3mm, it probably cannot pop all balloons without trying to focus the beam, maybe red, blue or black balloons. My pointer is approx 150mW. Before I reduced the divergence from 1.2mrad to 03-0.4 mrad it popped balloons with ease at 10 feet.

At 200mW, even if the beam was 3mm wide, it should still pop balloons from close range.

You got a greenie down to 0.3mRad divergence, the beam must be even fatter now :-? Thats pretty insane divergence, for any laser. Never mind a green.

Sorry to break the news to you, but the "100mW" green laser from DX isn't really 100mW either...

If you want a real 100mW pointer, go to www.novalasers.com.

Just curious, did you order a pair of 532nm laser safety goggles as well a a pair of 650nm laser safety goggles? If you don't wear goggles in a lot of situations, you're putting your eye sight a huge risk.
