Where can i get the driver schematics for a 2.2v IR diode?

Could i just build the driver on rog8811 and just tweek the pot?

Depends on how much power you need.
The lm317 chip in rogs tut can only do about 1.5A and thats pushing it.
 
i got the aixis module coming and the diodes and i already have my host ready however im not good with circuits:(
 
i seriously need help im going to buy the stuff today.... seriously does anyone have any driver schematics? i plan to use two AA batteries..
 
you can use rogs tutorial. but you need to ask the seller what current you should run it at.
You may or may not have to mod the schematic for increased current.
 
Just pointing out the obvious here but you realize IR is not a visible light source. If your looking at rog8811's web page I don't know what else you will need besides learning to use the search function here.

Answer this, why IR and do you have safety goggles for this wavelength?

Because i need to get it to a specific voltage... and i dont know what current to run it at.
IR is cheap and fascinating and that was another question i had, where can i get good ir glasses

EDIT:nvm found some good 808nm glasses...
