Hey Lpf family, so as usual I was looking around on ebay and came across this listing LINK and bought it. I never buy diodes outside of here but I wanted to give it a go! It got here in 3days and I am very very surprised with the results. Now I haven't cranked it up on the bench and I'm probably not going to. I am happy with it @ 1002ma Here's some pics of the build process. The divergence is not bad at all!!! I'm using a 3ele lens but will be putting my S1 or G2 on it once my new host gets here from Budget Beams :)
And I will be using the famous X-Drive with it! That'll be all for now.. Thanks for looking.........CARRY ON
EDIT: IT JUST DIED hahahahah well, live and learn!
SELLER IS SENDING ME ANOTHER DIODE at half price... :)

Already bought a diode from that seller, works very nice so far.

I'm running mine at 900ma.

I asked the seller and he claims they're extracted from the old A130 Projectors.

Lol Google voice is a bit**

And it died already! Lol I'm not shocked though. 19$ what can one expect.? I did message the seller so maybe we can work something out.

EDIT: seller is sending another diode at half price :)

you can easily run these at 1.25 A and get a good 1.2 W out of them. they will also have a long lifetime.

Thanks, I'll do some more with it when I get the other diode! I'm honestly a little worried running it that high being as how fast this one just died out of nowhere.

Here's the new (replacement) diode!
