Hey guys,

A quick question, i build a 16340 445nM and i have 8 ultrafire batts and one brandless battery so i am in kind of a dilemma..

Only the brandless and 1 of the 8 ultrafire batts work with the laser? Really weird i dont have a clue :p the 445 is running of 1 flexdrive i even put the current on the driver down to see is maybe a protection board from the batts kick in but still only those two work.. Also all contact points are good that is not the problem

If you have a clue tell me :)

Should i get some AW batteries?

Greetings,,

If the internal resistance is too high, the voltage of the battery will sag under load. So much that it failed to deliver the needed voltage to the driver.

Ultrafire batteries are "famous" for the bad quality. Some of them are even repacked USED batteries. Even you bought it new they aren't new in the factory.

I think the 16340 hasn't enough juice to power a 445nm with a Flexdrive.
