@game-genie...
That looks like a low powered Red He-Ne laser for $450.00 that is no
doubt used to target the YAG's beam...

Yes, it's a 10mW He-Ne tube ..... good quality and power, for the times they was produced (almost 20 years ago) ..... but still only 10 mW :D

And i remember those years in my youth, when i got those two, from old medical x-ray machines, where they was used for make the aiming cross for the emitter ..... i was almost drooling ..... 10 mW, when the more powerful ones that there was around was just 5, plus the PSU units, the cylinder lenses for make the cross, and the piezo-optic shutters ..... thinking about how easy is now to find them around ..... ah, nostalgy :crackup:

@Laser_Ben.... If you look at the pic of the Warning labels that are
probably attached to the outside of the Surgery Room's door...
you can clearly see the 100 Watt warning...

99.9% of the time, the warnings are a minimum of 2-3 times greater then the laser output, in fact, it has to be greater then the feasible maximum power. That means if your laser could be turned up to put out 10W, but is only rated for 2W, you must put a number higher then 10W.
