100mw?

hi all, does anyone have a pic of a 100mw red laser, maybe in fog? i want to know how bright my red is going to be (i'm impatient)

sry, I dont have a pic offhand but to give you an idea of comparison, the WL pulsar is ~660nm and a 130mW one is just about comparable to 4mW leadlight green beam.

Of course, if you're talking about 635nm diode or 632.8nm HeNe red, they're a lot more visible.

Check out the top video - it is a 200mw red and a 95mw green - it'll give you SOME idea, at least....

so it will be half as bright as that? the lasers in the laser show i have coming are 100mw red @ 650nm and green is 40mw @ 532nm, is this good for a laser show? i just emailed david and he said i can control the lasers movements through dmx!! cool!! hurry up and get here laser!

Actually your 100mW will be a lot more than just half as bright as the 200mW because of the "4 times the power=2 times the brightness" factor.
