100mW o-like module

hey,

I have heard that 100mW of green should easily be able to light matches ect. There is a very visible beam and all but it just doesnt burn without a magnifying glass...I have also tried replacing the batteries but that doesnt seem to help....any ideas?

You may always need the magnifying glass. 100mW of green that is focused to "infinity" is right on the edge of burning ability.

Thin beam is the secret for match lighting.
You can light a match with 95mW CNI having thin beam while can't light with 145mW WL's (thick beam)
