10 watt Green laser for $99

You misunderstood. He said his 10 watt laser turned out to be closer to 200 mW.
says 2W right in his post. Maybe we're looking at different posts.

I have, won't go there anymore, the only thing I have purchased off of that web site are LED's although I just remembered about 7 years ago I did buy a 10 watt 532 nm laser pointer, when new to this hobby, was closer to .2 watts for $350.00 which at the time was not such a high price, but certainly under rated :p

I was not insulting you. Only trying to show you an error.
No insult taken Paul.. Ive read enough around here to figure you are well-meaning. Ive said it before, the current set of regulars here are helpful and much better than the troll hole this place was in the past. How a laser pointer forum became such a place is a riddle wrapped in a mystery surrounded by an enigma ( or something like that from Churchill) 😉

Back on topic... Any predictions of how powerful single green diodes will be or are needs met already by their relative brightness to the eye?
