Hello all,

I am searching for a 1.5mW 488nm Argon laser.

I have googled this for several hours now and the lowest power laser I can seem to find is 10mW.

Does anyone know of some companies who sell low power argon lasers?

Cheers!

You could always buy a higher powered Argon and add a filter to reduce the power.

Don't most argon's have current control which allows you to reduce the power?

Great!

Thank you for the replies everyone I will look into reducing the power via filters.

no need, get a ~20mW argon and run it at idle.

mine idles at about 1mW.

Cyparagon-

I will be measuring the photoluminescent properties of a silicon-oxycarbide ceramic.

After doing more research I dont think an intensity of ~5mW will have a major impact on the powder sample which was my original concern.

Thanks for the input everyone I really appreciate your time!
