i cant seem to find any 1.5 batteries either AA or AAA. theyre all 1.2V. so anyone know where i cant find some 1.5V for no more than $3ea. would using 2.4V instead of 3V make a big differece. my laser seems to last a bit just after i get them out of the charger but not for ong ant it dim's and i see red IR on the wall.
i am using them in a 5mw DPSS.

I've never heard of 1.5v rechargeable batteries either. Can't help you, sorry. :-/

Don't rechargeable batteries put out 1.4 volts when fully charged. :-?

Is there such thing as rechargeable lithium AAA batts? I've looked in the stores, but haven't found them...

If you could find some of those, they would probably be 1.5v :)

i know there are lipo batts that are kinda teh same dimension as a AA and AAA. i guess it doenst realy matter if you putting it in a flashlight laser or something.

Unfortunatelly the rechargeable AAA size lithiums (10440 cell) are 3.6V.If your laser is regulated then maybe you can just use one 3.6V cell and a spacer, or just make your laser shorter. :D

There's the *alkaline* rechargeable, maybe it'll withstand 5 charges max before blowing up...

Weird that you have such a touchy module. I know you don't want to spend much but my three green pointers work great off of Sanyo Eneloops. Worth the invest me if you're going to expand your AAA laser collection! (I even have the AA versions that I'm using in my Xbox360 controller and it works miracles!)

Sorry for the double post but my batteries do get about 1.4V out of the charger. Maybe you're just using older cells that have a lower capacity?
