I gave up on lasers a while ago (still love em, but not enough time these days, and it was an expensive hobby) and instead I focused on my career of being a self-employed indie game developer.
And here we are: Save 10% on Solar 2 on Steam A game I developed myself has now been released on...
hai guyz
This whole WikiLeaks business is pretty crazy isn't it. I thought it was hilarious how the US went so nuts, calling them terrorists left right and center. So, being the game developer I am, I made a quick game about it:
Uncle Sam vs WikiLeaks
Vote 5, and if you think it's a good...
Also any Facebook statuses and twitter mentions and anything to help spread this game would be appreciated :)
It's not my best game, but it's certainly a good bit of fun for just $1 :)
Yup, I sure did. Now that I've finished Uni I've knuckled down as a full time game developer, here's another one:
Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Unplugged
Or just head over the 'Indie Games' on the Xbox LIVE Game Marketplace and look under 'New Arrivals' :) And if you're feeling generous, Rate it 5...
Oh for fucks sake. Just got the Herc 400 back, this time a new head.
It's a bit underspec, the beam is hitting the aperture, it's mode hopping and the fan is broken, which caused it to overheat within about 10 minutes of constant use. So much for the worlds only 100% duty cycle portable laser...
I'm in Australia and I've got a bunch of excess lasers ranging from a 50mW blu-ray to a 300mW RPL. Best laser I've got currently for sale is a 150mW green which works like a champ, PM if interested.
Because new and more powerful diodes are always being found for bluray they lose their value faster than any other laser. I'm not sure what it would sell at now, but if you paid $400 then you won't get all that back.
I think it's silly how in all these sites the 'Comments' section is always perfect. Perfect spelling, perfect grammar, nothing offtopic, and no trolling. Haven't they ever seen YouTube comments before? lol.
Oh god, this laser is cursed... I sent it back to be repaired for warranty, and it's been 3 weeks (expected delivery is about 1 week) and the tracking information only shows that it was lodged at a post office. I'm inquiring about it now, but no response yet.
If this package is lost it's not...
Well I'm Australian and might be selling off some of my excess stuff, so if you are interested in buying a portable laser I might have something you may like (shipping within Australia is no problem).
This is actually a pretty amazing deal, and under different circumstances I'd probably take it. Unfortunately though I'm just about to enter that time in life where I'll be moving around a bit and won't be settling down for a while, and I have more than enough laser stuff to lug around already, lol.
I'm a chemistry student at University, doing some serious experiments in the lab. A few days ago an experiment exploded a bottle of chemicals near some experiments, sending glass and chemicals everywhere. I was right near it, I was in acute shock for a day from the explosion and nausea from the...
Alright, so I've been ridiculously busy with the work project that could well define my entire future career, but that's over and it's back to lasers.
So the kit has been left back at my parents and I won't get back to it for another 4 months. But I did do some more tests and I'd say it was...
I can tell you the RPL is in decent condition, as you would expect from a laser over 2 years old really.
And yeah, more of a feeler. I SORTA don't want to sell it, but I'll see what's out there first.
I've got a Herc 400 now, so my old RPL-300 is tentatively up for sale.
I've had this laser for over a year now and I bought it second hand then. It still works like a champ, it's stable with a tight beam and is the best laser I've ever owned. If it was ever going to break it would of done so...
