    Batteries for max power?

I just bought this blue laser from a dude in China, but it's without batteries and I am not sure which ones to buy. It needs two 16340 batteries, he says. The laser should be able to power out 200mW (real output power the seller said, although it says lower in the add). I tried a 18650 3.7V...

    16340 VS 18650 battery

Are you sure about that two 16340 batteries gives more output power because of 7.4 V?

    Biglasers.com

I know that! That's why I bought a laser with 200 mW. I sought help from their support first and they assured me, this laser could do the job, I was aiming for. It didn't! Not even close! They advertised the laser as a strong astronomy laser. It's definitely not! The label on it said <5mW, but...

    Biglasers.com is a Scam

Oh yeah indeed! This thread is from 2012, but the company is still scamming people. I just received the laser yesterday that I bought from them on 4 th of August and it's definitely NOT the laser, I bought! I bought an astronomy 450 nh violet laser 200 mW for about $95. I got a cheap toy laser...

Oh yeah indeed! I just received the laser that I bought from them on 4 th of August and it's definitely NOT the laser, I bought! I bought an astronomy 450 nh violet laser 200 mW for about $80. I got a cheap toy laser that is so weak, I can barely see the beam even at a pitch dark sky! And the...

    Best laser for UFO watch?

Okay, I don't know, why the violet laser would be better, but someone suggested that. Maybe it's because, it's doesn't blind the eyes so much. The beam is still dangerous though.

    Best laser for UFO watch?

We'll, it's obvious, isn't it? But it's good, that people are awake about that and warns others. I am completely aware of the danger. The rule is, if there's anything in the sky, that COULD be a plane, you don't use the laser, but wait, till it's passed.

    Best laser for UFO watch?

Okay, so it's the violet laser wavelength, right? Could you link to that laser and where to buy? I have been told, that violet is the better than green. Don't know why. They are certainly more stealth from the ground, so you don't get attention from the wrong people :-D But why the 400mw...

    Best laser for UFO watch?

What laser would you recommend for UFO watching and communicating? Most cheap lasers on amazon or Ebay are sold as 5mw. Some say, they are actually more mw than that. Others say, they are probably lower in mw than the specs are saying. A lot of them don't even have specifications at all. How...

Which violet laser to buy for skywatch?

I didn't write that. Read it again. I know.that the green laser light is the one, human eyes sees the best. But I am for other reasons looking for a violet laser. And I was informed to look for a laser with more mw, if I wanted a violet one, to enhance the light power.

Which violet laser to buy for skywatch?

I have for some time been looking at lasers to buy, but it's a confusing market and I still don't know, what and where to buy. I need a laser for sky watching. It should be able to reach up at least 5 km, so I have been looking for high power lasers around 200-500 mw. But most lasers online...
