    I am using M140 M Type for a DIY laser engraver. Recently I noticed that when I focus the beam to a dot a rectangle pops up on the side. This rectangle feels like a reflection of the diode beam but turned 90 degrees. Is this normal for M140?

    Hi I am new to this forum. My laser is dead. It is supposed to be a 2W 445nm laser module . I am not sure which diode should I replace it with. Is it possible to identify this 5.6mm LD from this photo?
