I guess it stands to reason that it runs full power until the batteries are discharged, otherwise it would probably be common knowledge by now that a half charged battery only makes a half power laser haha!
I saw your review of the laser before purchasing... its a good one!
Hey I see you have the same laser as me (if thats what the list in your signature represents ) Have a question for you.. what's the runtime on a fresh set of batteries at full power? i.e if I put fully charged batteries in, do I get the full 1.4W until their dead? or is there a drop off...
Thanks, its a great product, made the review something I looked forward to. Yes, safety first. I have goggles that I use if there's any chance of a reflection where I'll be aiming, or if i'm looking at the dot for extended periods (burning stuff... ) But I have to say the color is mesmerizing...
Yes I am so happy about accidentally ending up with the mechanical switch... especially for a class IV laser at 1.4W. The momentary on/off switch is a great safety feature, and much more useful I think than a strobe effect. And yes, hats off to JL! They'll be getting my business again when I...
Hello! I've had my PL-E Mini 465nm 1.4W laser for over a week now and I thought I would write down my impressions. It's my first "serious" laser beyond a red <5mW pointer.
If you followed my last post, you know that I ordered a PL-E mini from JetLasers about a month ago. Unfortunately, that...
Update 9/26/19 -- Gray is shipping me a new laser free of charge and offered to cover the cost of the batteries I bought for the unit. Great customer service as everyone says! Responsive and stands behind their product. Glad I went with a reputable shop. Confident that the new unit will be...
Exchanging emails with him right now to see next steps... yes he is very responsive. Hoping for either a simple fix or a replacement, will update when I know.
After a day on the supplied charger while I was at work, unfortunately there is no difference. The laser still just gives a very weak output with no LED's or side button functionality. I think I may have a lemon :cautious: but I will work with Gray and Hakzaw1 further to see if there is more...
I appreciate your feedback.. I am talking with Gray at Jetlasers and its likely the batteries are simply not charging with my nitecore, even though it says they are. I am using the charger Jetlasers sent and will update after they have been on for some hours. Thanks..
Yes i saw that... the issue is that my laser is not responding that way. I turn it on and the LED's do not light up, and it just turns the laser on very low power output. I am using the Elfest batteries that Jetlasers sent to me. Maybe I need different batteries?
HI all,
My PL-E Mini 465nm laser just arrived. I turned it on using the back button power switch and the laser comes on very low power and the LEDs do not light up. I am assuming its on safety mode. How do I turn it off? It didnt come with instructions..
Thanks for the help,

Thanks! I am optimistic! Gray at jetlasers said it was shipping today! So should have it in a few days!
Yes, I ordered a pair of Eagle brand goggles from survival lasers which arrived already! Wasn't going to skimp on protecting my eyes, only have 2 for life!
