    Thanks for the welcome! About the blue/green balance - that makes sense - the 514 line isn't visible below about 6 or 7A but comes up fast as current is increased.

    Oh - power output is around 100-120mW, at least that is what I was told when I purchased the tube eons ago. It's multiline, but the blue 488nm line is by far the strongest (i think the old xerox optics favor 488 over green).
