Nice! I would recommend the metal adapter piece as well though, since it threads on to the saber and has metal threads on the male end. Then you aren't risking damaging the plastic threads fitting it and removing it.

That was a glass bottle ;) The brown color of the glass absorbs enough light where it will heat and crack the glass as you rotate the bottle, similar to how you can "cut" a bottle with a piece of string when you light it on fire.

I'm stating this in comparison to some of the other lasers I've used, including the sanwu spiker where focusing is done by turning the head. Turn too much and it unscrews completely. The ultra has a ring that moves the lens and does not unscrew the head. Maybe this picture explains it better...

Maybe Tommy knows what diode is in the Ultra? Looking at their LPM tests for the Ultra and H2 on their youtube channel, both come in at 5W but the Ultra seems to be much more stable at peak power.

Thanks. The laser itself was about $350 for the 5W and the beam expander was $60. The beam expander is a must have if you get it. Not sure if it's any specific brand, but it is the one on the site. I also opted to getting the case for it as well.
