Just saw this thread and thought I'd share my fav watch. It's made from koa wood indigenous to Hawaii. Very dense, yet light. Got it on the last trip to Maui. I also have a nice Citizen Eco-Drive my wife got me for my b-day. It's the first watch I've owned that's deadly accurate. The fact I...
I hate giving up, but I know my limits. Doubt that I have two bad diodes, but rather that I got them too hot soldering, or popped them on the PS. Think I'll stick with diodes from DTR. Never had a lick of trouble with his stuff.
Thanks again for all your help.
Another thoroughly satisfied customer. I asked Monday if I could get one, and Thursday it's here. The clips are very much appreciated. More rep coming your way!
Thanks!
First off I want to thank all who have responded.
I've been reading your posts here on LPF and have learned a lot. You all know your stuff and then some.
I apologize for not responding earlier, but I've been crazy busy at work.
I use the same bench PSU that you see in DTR's YT vids and...
Re: Post your accidentally BURNING MARKS [picture thread]
Oh believe me. I jerked my hand back as soon as I felt the burn.
There are actually two burns on my hand. One healed well, the other not so much.
Doesn't take long for a 2W laser to bite.
Re: Post your accidentally BURNING MARKS [picture thread]
This is what happens when you're a noob with eye protection,
and you forget you CAN'T SEE THE BEAM WITH EYE PROTECTION!!!
Doh!
I bought a couple of these, mainly to practice pressing and soldering but for the life of me I can't coax a photon out of them.
Bought them from Laserlands on Ebay.
I can't find a datasheet on these for the pinout, so I'm guessing it's the same as other 405's. Positive on the right, negative...
Tripod, longer exposure, DMX control, and more fog.
It looks so cool to the naked eye, but my Canon PowerShot S3 IS just doesn't do those beams justice.
I still find myself just watching the show and forgetting about taking pictures.
Mine came today. Very well packed! Took me 20 minutes to get one of them opened.
And it worked perfectly!!
Thanks for a great group buy.:beer::beer:
Ok...Here's a first attempt at stills.
No where near Brucemir quality, but fun trying!
I'll work on the light leaks on the door and masking the wall with black fabric so the beams show better. Not too bad for a first try.
Re: SHIPPING!!& DELIVERY ASAP UPDATE!!Laserprojector group buy # 4 Time to send PAYM
No numbers or pumpkins. Just that checkmark and the X in column 4.
Nothing really matches the pattern list in the manual except in columns 1 and 2.
But even those aren't exactly right. But I'm not...
Re: SHIPPING!!& DELIVERY ASAP UPDATE!!Laserprojector group buy # 4 Time to send PAYM
Got the Chauvet hooked up tonight and figured it out.
On the last series of images, I'm seeing a Radiation sign, then Pinwheel, Flower, $, Heart, Checkmark, X, then the alignment screen is last.
I did stick a...
I bought the 40 because it has the digital readouts.
No guessing what the controller is telling the PJ to display.
At least that's what I'm hoping.
Plus I like more blinky lights, and it came with cables!
THANKS!
I did have to quote you and look at what was between the YT tags.
The wife sat in the living room and was quite impressed by the show too!
