I'm looking for an aluminum host copy of the space 1999 laser weapon on my icon. Can you do that???

These are very cool adapters. I'm also interested in exploring adding laser sound chips in the spacey ones to add an extra bit of fun and nerdiness. Ever since I bought one of Jayrob's phasers i've been hooked on the sound effects.

Well, I was gearing up to buy a Mastech 5A DC power supply but now that we've reached diodes at 7A, my plans are foiled. Now I have to consider a 10+A system. Even then, I have to wonder how long will it be before this range is also surpassed? This is shaping up to be a seriously expensive...

Yup, I'm guessing its the low-spectrum ultraviolet that's going to flame them out :D Also, I suspect that the heat generated from a high-energy laser would have a similar impact on shadow people, who obstruct light when they manifest and are are blacker-than-black. Time to build a 5watt, go...
