positive to the tail cap on green lasers except otherwise noted. you probably cooked it. another test might be that the crystals were knocked out of alignment when you opened the lens compartment. assuming you have your IR goggles. use your camera on your phone. take a video of the end of the...
great idea for a practical use of a portable laser. i was pondering one day about home protection using a high power laser. with home intrusion here in florida (much like texas) you shoot first then ask questions. so the idea of blinding a malitious intruder with a high power burst of laser...
get some of the old q-tips they used to sell for cleaning tape decks... radio shack probably has them. then use them with some alcohol. wipe then lense and dispose of the q-tip, then repeat. otherwise you will just smudge whatever you are cleaning off all around. had a very similiar issue with a...
you can't even really guess the power until you put it on a laser power meter. i have a 100mw from lazerer that can burn all kinds of stuff. but lazerer also certifies all his stuff. if it's green and in that housing, i wouldn't expect anything above 200mw.
Point to ponder..... if you had a cheese wheel with a black wax rind on it...
do you think a 1000mw would be enough to.... cut the cheese!!!!
valve lapping compound should help. spread it on and when you thread the cap and it starts to get rough, work it on an off. this will clear and burrs or flattened threads. you can buy this in any decent auto parts store. then when its better just clean with alcohol.
fortunately the YAG crystal is set a little ways away from it (or at least a gnats hair or two).
I've got a $20 "100mw" ebay pointer (ha! suuuurrree 100mw) that the expansion lense looks to be made of plastic.... think it will hold up? Max uses a glass lense.
What do you think happened to it...
Pulled a rookie mistake..... Sad story and need help.
So i bought my first decent DPSS module for Lazerer. FYI, to anyone reading this... very high build quality and great communication.
In messing with it and checking out how these are constructed I found that the output right next to the...
