This is remarkable. Are there readily affordable sources for the 488s now? Checked DTRs site and it doesn't look like he has them.
Wow, reps are astronomically huge these days.
That is very sharp. It took me a couple minutes just to figure it out (I didn't catch on to the fact that those were NC end stops at first).
I do need to figure out a way to avoid the short, because it's possible that the circuit could be triggered when the mechanism has slacked somewhat and...
It is a DC motor I'll be using.
I've been able to figure out how to make a setup where the two NC momentary buttons would serve as "stops" using Cyparagon's approach. Separately, I've been able to figure out how to make a circuit that reverses polarity when endstops are pressed. Where I've hit...
I've been scratching my head on this one for a bit, and thought I would see if any of the bright minds on here had any ideas.
I want to design a circuit using a battery, a motor, 3 momentary switches and any number of relays and current rectifying diodes required.
- Pressing switch "trigger"...
Apparently one thing that has changed is that my email now filters topic reply notifications - I was starting to think there was just no activity on this thread!
Thanks all for the kind words.
Down: It was made custom to have no startup delay tailcap key lock or tailcap interlock plug that...
For sale is a CNI 589nm laser made custom for me several years back. Discussed in a thread elsewhere on LPF when purchased. Very little used notwithstanding that it's probably around 5 years old now. Still looks beautiful. The power tends to hover between 40 and 45mW (see video here for a ~1...
Further evidence of that is the fact that the datasheet itself puts all 8 in series and refers to the array as an "LD Bank" with an operating voltage of 30 to 39V.
What he said ^
Slightly longer explanation of rationale:
1) Parallel is too dangerous for an array, it would have to be series. I want to power from a high current 7.4V Lipo, so that would require a boost. I don't have any boost designs sitting around in Eagle that can boost to ~44V @ 5A, and...
Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please
Back up this statement. What are you basing the claim that "9w diodes are out" on?
I don't see them at the link you provided. You sent us a link to an eBay listing that is 36W / 8 = 4.5W
Might want to read...
Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please
Nothing new that I know of. I just haven't used my array. I'd actually sell it for $450 + actual shipping costs.
