Unfortunately I had forgot about the 2 of these I ordered until I saw this today. I ordered mine back on Nov. 5th so I'm past the 45 day Paypal window as well.
The spanner wrench just has two points that can be adjusted to fit into the two holes. Using a pen to adjust it works as well, I used that before I found my wrench during my latest move.
Here are the pictures of the inside, I had a spanner wrench for microscope lenses and it works perfect lasers as well but it shouldn't be too hard too find something else. The white stuff appears to be something to lock the ring in place but even after I turned it the ring still holds in place...
It really isn't delicate, there is a circular plate the diameter of the laser below with two holes for a spanner to fit it with the lens recessed in the center. I will remove the cover and get a few pictures tonight after work and post them so you can see what it looks like.
Kenom,
Family life comes first, all we are after are some laser hosts, but your kids are a whole lot more important than that, so thanks for sticking it out and continuing to work through this your rough times.

Got mine in the mail yesterday, Thanks Dave, that's my first gas and definitely not my last. Is it very hard to get the Al tube off of this? I have not seen the inside of a tube like this and would hate to damage the gas tube inside trying to remove it.

I just recharged the battery I used earlier to see if the peak that I got was a fluke or not and it peaked higher and averaged higher after 5 minutes of running. It peaked at 499, almost hit 500, and the average for the run was 428. I think I got really lucky with mine and the beam looks much...
Well since you asked I went ahead and looked, it is focusable, but not with an external focus ring, you have to unscrew the cap and use a spanner wrench to adjust the focus.
So I went ahead and adjusted it and now i'm down to .5" at 19ft, so I imagine if I play around with it some more I can...
Well I finally got a chance to meter mine. I used a fully charged Tenergy 2600mA battery. I ran it for about 3 minutes at a time for 3 LPM readings and between the first and second readings I had it on for about 3 to 5 minutes measuring the dot to get a divergence and I have to say that I'm...
Jake, any info on whether we can do multiple types of hosts or powers? I may be interested in one and want to know if we all have to stick to the same one or not.
Thanks
Aaron
Mine came in last week, just 6 days after it shipped, but I'm in the middle of a move at the moment so when I get internet access back at home and can test it out I will post the results. The beam on mine is quite narrow for the first few feet out and then widens out considerably, I will...
I got my Jetlaser Ti pen yesterday and thought I would post some pictures of this little beauty. The host on this is very sweet, I love the look and feel of the Ti. On the LPM it measured a pretty steady 20mW and peaked at 22mW. I'm very happy with the purchase and the build quality, but that...
I just added 2 new lasers and 1 new wavelength to my collection and thought it was time to post some rainbow shots. All of the lasers in my signature are in this except the NES gun, it is currently dead and waiting until after I move to get repaired. Hope you enjoy.
Turned off the 2 445's for...
Got mine when I returned home from Gencon and it is so beautiful looking, nice beam and the etching is awesome. Thanks Trevor for putting this together.
Edit: Added some pictures
Got my Jetlasers Ti Pen the same day so I have a side by side with it too.
