    Adjustable current laser

Of course I do :D I'm more concerned about what kiyoukan said - is there anything I can do? inductor and/or small filter cap maybe? :/ I have a uh. I forget the wattage. I think its uh 5W or something. I know its definitely >2W. cost me 5 bucks. It's a wirewound pot. Edit: and it goes...

    Adjustable current laser

Hello all, I've been told by an experienced forum member that having an adjustable (via pot) laser (445nm 1W) is a bad practice. Is this true? if so, is there a better way to do it? thanks.

Me? I haven't a clue D: I don't even know where to get thermally conductive silicone adhesive atm - I want it for a 445 'pointer' I'm going to build. Qumefox's host. Will be my first portable I think. So far I've only wanted to build a lab-style one. Anyway, I don't think I'm understanding...

Crashing at ARG's place? damn i better bring extra goggles lol. Oh yeah I have a "200mW" from DX that i bought years ago too, but i think it's closer to like.. 25mW lol or not even.
