Well that's the time it takes for dx orders to get to me so i guess it wouldnt work anymore when i receive it :( ;D if i had this amount of cash to put on a laser tho i'd get it from reliable sources...
Make sure you fill every gap with thermal paste cause you don't want any air pockets (not sure if its that critical for LDs but it is when it comes to cpus)
You could just use the current regulator... the diode will take the voltage it needs, you can use anything between 6-12v i think... if you really only have 13.8v try downing it to 9v with the first it'll heat less i think.
Off topic but factory overclocked videocards are usually very stable, just overpriced as hell, but i doubt "over-potted" (lol) lasers like these would be stable lol.
They're the same price anyway... so you could still play with that 100mw's pot (probably maxed out tho), i guess this one is just for people who don't want to mess inside their lasers.
If you read each lasers' descriptions it says 50 pot mod to 100, 100->150, 150->200, so it's not really x4 :P but then again i don't think they really output what they say...
might be getting the 100mw soon
