Smaller wavelengths don't make for brighter lasers per mW. It's how close they are to your eye's peak sensitivity. The reason why yours looks brighter than your green at night is because at night your eye's peak sensitivity drops down to about 500-507nm at night. This is called Scotopic Vision...
Well ya it's not the body design it's the color. Flat black is not pretty when you render it in 3d. There is nothing special to it. If the RPLs were shiny then they would look nice and pretty, like the aquarius. Anyway, I have done a new version of the aquarius and have posted it down below...
Hey everyone, still working on the beams. Thanks for all the suggestions! I have now set up a site to show all of my 3d work. It's here at http://www.3hreeD.com.
Thanks!!

Lol, that's a problem with my rendering program. For some reason it renders shadows for the beams. I noticed it long before I posted it. Other than that, anyone else have any suggestions?
Well, I decided when I was bored to do 3d versions of lasers! I've only done a couple so far but many more will be coming! My best one yet is my replica of the laserglow Aquarius. Pics are down below!
The models were created and rendered in Cheetah3D (http://cheetah3d.com/)

Re: Happy day it is! just got my 2 lasers from jak
I think he's mad at you because you bought Jake21's bluray. It's a complete ripoff of milos's bluray.
Hmm http://laserz.co.uk/ seems to work for me.
I would also like to see some pics/vids of these lasers. I would be highly surprised if they are any good.
