yea thats what i was worried about, i did it to a second one, decided i didnt want to ruin it since they cost twice as much as regular dvds you think the pc will still light scribe it? theres only a few little dots on the second one... lol.

ok, so i built a blu ray laser with 100 ma driver running on a 9v battery. it works good. thing is, i have no safety goggles....just curious if as long as im shining the laser long distances and looking at the beam and the large dot thats a long ways away if its really bad for my eyes as well...

guys i got it i was just short on time cuz i built it on my lunchbreak lol. It was just challenging focusing it and holding the wires on the battery at the same time, im waiting on my cr123s now... :) then itll be in the flashlight!!

ok i just got my diode in and well hooked it up to my driver. tested it with a 9 volt. close up the dot is tiny and it burns but when i shine it 3+ feet a way the dot get pretty big, like up to 5 inches across in a small room on the wall is this just my optics, or the way they are? I was under...
