Re: GB feeler - Tiny LD driver $5, 2 for $8.50 shi
yh DDL. after seeing that it requires a 1.2v drop i took it out of my wishlist, i would rather get the amc7135 and put a resistor in series to drop the voltage or use the lm317
Re: GB feeler - Laser diode drivers
srry it was meant to say "CAN'T" rather than can. maybe you could send them to DD to distribute in the uk or something, thats the only option really.
any chance of anyone selling 2-3 to me. so they put out around 350ma with 3.6v rcr then
if i want to reduce that all i have to do is add a resistor in series right.
i dunno which diode it will be but most likely a 16x of 20x. i wanted to power of a single cr123 battery so i think the best idea would be to use the circuit of the flashlight and add a resistor in series until i can get around 300ma??
or can you give me a link to a good cheap driver on dx
so if the current draw is around 350mah it should be around 3.7v
if i just want to use a cr123 batt what resistor should i use
3.7-2.7
1/0.3=3.33
or if its voltage is 4.2v and i use the same resistor it will draw
4.2-2.7
1.5/.0033=454ma
thats the only concern because with fully charged...
i just wanted to ask if i used a cr2 3v rechargeable batt. to power a laser, would the initial voltage be 3.6v
and with a 3.6v battery, would this voltage be 4.2v and if so how long does it stay there till as i heard that its supposed to drop reapidly to its normal voltage
except a cap and a...
Re: GB feeler laser barrels
this seems wicked
by the way kenom you said that all you do is put in the diode so will the aixiz housing come off from the front to put the diode in or how would it work
simply which green dx laser is better
this cr2 one or the aaa true 30mw one
i quite like the cr2 one coz it can be taken apart and the batts should last longer

yeah
i didnt mean to say that you use the original regulator as i dont think it has one, it should just be connected directly to batteries.
you can add a resistor and a pot which would do the trick 8-)
Well i think the dorcy mini take one cr123 doesnt it??
anyways if it does then rather than spending $20+ on it get this

its very tiny but i think the head should be big enough
:)
