Nuit Blacbe Montreal Feb 2008 - Darling Foundry

This place was really dark and red they lent out flashlights so that you could see the art. Most people were too distracted by the >220 mW laser. The place was pretty much in the dark.so exposure was set to 4+sec. This was at the Foundry In griffon Town Monreal

Novalasers Alpha 125 Baseline Laser Review.

The alpha series from Novalasers, looks just like what Lucent Lasers is selling. So does anyone know if Lucent is selling know-offs, or are they the same model with the same components?

    Even more BS from Techlasers

yeah it's all fine and dandy except for all the wasted time and the shipping costs.

    Where and what to buy...

Even if Techlasers distributed good quality lasers for a good price, their customer service is so bad that I would stay well away from them. They lied to me over and over again. I had to do a chargeback on them. I asked this in another earlier, but does anything have anything good or bad to say...

    Even more BS from Techlasers

CC company gave me my money back in less than 5 days. So all is well when you don't deal with techlasers.

    Lucent Optics

Does any one have reviews on Lucent Optics products and customer service?

    Techlasers any good?

Lucky you. They `sent` my battery in a separate shipment...3 months ago. I had the feeling they were outright lying to me at that time, so I switched companies, and I was right. They lied to me, outright.

    Even more BS from Techlasers

For anyone considering ordering from Techlasers, here's my two cents: Long story short. I made the mistake of ordering from Techlasers, and I had issues with the product/company so they agreed to give me a refund. I sent the laser back with a tracking number, expecting troubles with getting my...

    Dragon Lasers or Nova?

Ah yes. Don't worry, I understand this completely, despite my recent interest in lasers. I ordered from Techlasers, and they botched my order. Big time. They agreed to do a full refund, but I wasted a lot of time and the price of shipping their product back to them. They dicked me around for 5...

    Dragon Lasers or Nova?

pseudonomen137 If you had to choose between yourself, Dragon and Nova, which would you choose ;) I'm actually serious. If you have better products (And i don't know either way), then say it if it's true and doesn't break the forum rules

    Bring out your blind

Yeah, I'm a little worried about "one wrong move", because I jumped in and bought a 300 mW green laser. My roommate walks around with the second pair of safety glasses on a regular basis.

    Dragon Lasers or Nova?

I wished I had asked before I made my decision. From what I understand, this forum is not very pro Dragon Laser, Wicked Lasers or TechLasers. Everyone seems to have a grudge against one company or another. The ones that seem to be recommended are Nova, Laserglow and optotronics. ] But...

    Bring out your blind

Well he did a service to us all! I want to see if there are any longer term studies done on the effects of diffuse laser light on the human eye. I have access to sci finder, but if anyone already knows, point me in the right direction.

    Bring out your blind

That guy is insane! Wish he had a 300 mW to test on himself though...more good hard data. But who the hell shines a laser beam into their eyes just to see what kind of damage it'll do to them.

    Bring out your blind

So with 300 + mW portable lasers being so darn easy to procure these days. Has anybody done serious harm to themselves yet, on this forum, what feels like sharing their experience? I read through the "laser safety" section of wikipedia, and it was pretty thin on the reported cases of permanent...

    optronics

Agreed, get as much power as you can. So dkd you end up buying from optotronics?

    RPL-300 vs RPL-375

Yeah, fully charged batteries aren't to be ignored. I came in today with 2 fully charged batteries. The first lab I went to measured the RPL300 at 10 mW. Tried it with both batteries, but I knew the reading couldn't possibly be right. We played with it for a few minutes each battery. Later on...

    NEW RPL-300 ARRIVED

You want snow? I've got lots where I am. This is what the beam looks like in a nice snow fall (RPL300). I would have taken a better picture, but I was freezing to death trying to take this one. 1 sec exposure

    RPL-300 vs RPL-375

Yeah, I`ve got 3 fresh, fully charged batteries. I`m going to take in into school tomorrow and see if anyone wants to waste their time to test out the laser. I apparently didn`t see or didn`t read the instructions on how to use the adjustable tailcap. It works, but it could be a little bit more...
