Back for sale: 300mW Krypton (EU)

Well after a interesting couple weeks of being MIA, this laser has been finally returned to me. With a "Return to Sender: Not Called For", sticker attached...after what I assume was a major clusterf*ck at the purchasers local post office. The laser is back on sale, is packaged and is awaiting...

FS: (EU) A couple interesting lasers. (ship anywhere)

Hello everyone, Been a while since I’ve been on LPF, it is nice to see it is as active as ever. Yesterday I stopped by to see what was going on and realized I have a couple laser just gathering dust. I am unable to use them mainly due to living too close to an airport and just a plain lack to...

    Hehe, schooled.

Alright this is the story. I've been living in an apartment since the end of summer in Nice (moved for post-grad), to be honest haven't even fired up my lasers since coming here. Came home quite tipsy tonight and I was relaxing on my balcony. All of a sudden a low power 532nm (estimate...

Am I the only one who prefers red to 405nm?

Having just finished building a bastard SONAR II, took out a great long wavelength 6X diode doing 211mW@195mA! with acrylic lens (257mW with 405-g-1) and replaced it with an LOC@512mA now doing 350mW... I couldn't be happier. I have always found BR diode lasers to be too much like flashlights...

    Tiny peltier(TEC) for custom LPM

They aren't exactly cheap but at 14.5$ a pop, they aren't too expensive either. Don't know, if anyone is still looking, but they would be pretty good for a homemade LPM. I am planning on ordering a couple in the coming days...just thought I would share the link. Mini TEC cooler modules Best...

    Unbreakable phone fail...

Reporter breaks an 'unbreakable' mobile phone at CES BBC News - Reporter breaks an 'unbreakable' mobile phone at CES This one made me LOL pretty hard. Feel bad for the guy though, probably a small start-up company with a lot (also personal) of cash riding on the success of the phone. But...

    Giving rep.

Hey c0ld, Brought this up in another thread, but thought I would bring it to your attention here. I have been trying to rep some members, whom I have not reped before, yet the system informs me that: "I have to spread some rep around before giving it to X member again." After attempting to...

    F***MyLife.com

I was wondering, does anyone else read the site? FML: Your everyday life stories A friend introduced me to the site a couple of weeks ago, great way to relieve stress and waste time at work. Really recommended, sure many of the stories are BS, but they are all plausible and surely have or will...

    Looking for web-site programing help.

Hello all, I have been in the "process" of creating my own web project log page, to keep track of experiments. I downloaded a free template and modified it completely in PS, that is where my problems began. I have very little .html programming experience and a distinct lack of time to learn...

    FS: Glass First Surface Mirrors

Up for sale are glass FS mirrors. I got these from a co-worker quite a while ago, don't know where he got them, they do seem to be of very good quality though. Seeing as how they have been gathering dust, I doubt I will use them, therefore they are now up for sale. Dimensions: M1...

UK: 30 mW JDSU Argon Head for sale

    Defintive 6X GGW-H20L Thread.

Ever since the introduction of the 8X diode the 6X diodes have sort of slipped into the background. Some time ago there was quite a massive group buy of these sleds, with many members buying quite a few. Therefore I propose this thread. A place where your results including failures are to be...

Finally I think that I may have found the answer.

...to why 803t diodes are so powerful, and why a 4x BR burner diode isn't that much more powerful. I have always wondered why a 2.4x reader diode from an X-BOX hd-dvd system would be so powerful compared to BR reader system from the competing PS3. We have theorized many possibilities, now I...
