well, my diode was running realy low. i now know 9ma, not 90ma. but, when i first tested the driver, its said, 42.0, and i thought, thats 420ma. but when the diode didnt work (lase) i cranked it (the pot) and now works, no burning though. so now i know its running at 42ma, and that i know what...

i did edit this thread several hours after posting. i found somewhat affordable glasses at dragon lasers. they block 640nm-750nm (OD3), and blu-ray 405nm which im prety happy about. can someone verify that, i had some idea that you need specific 405nm blocking, not just 190-420nm...

Just some qustions on photons Do photons have a mass? I heard they did as this is the reason they seperate thorugh difraction. Do photons of a different wavelength have a different size, mass, density etc. How big is a photon? Can you see them under a micsroscope?
