    IQS (itemquick ship) Laser Round-up

That means that was a longer exposure, which can make a beam look more impressive than it is in real life, same with using fog.

Laser review: IQS #100 (aka "My little freak") w/custom host

I was curious to see if I was even close in my measurements since I dont have a mm ruler, had to use a tape and go by 1/32nds

    Custom Effects Lenses or No?

Ive used my diffraction grating caps (5 in 1!!!1!!) with my 1w 445 quite a few times, never had a problem with melting but I didnt use them for more than 45s or so. Kinda a pain to get everything in position but Ive found if you get a cheap greenie with the caps you can yank the tip of it off...

Laser review: IQS #100 (aka "My little freak") w/custom host

What did you calculate for the mRad of yours? I have the same one and figured it was 0.846 rougly. Mine has a rather rough, oval dot at 40 feet but is still insane for how cheap it is. Also its the first green Ive had that could light a match when focused down (this is like my 4th or 5th...

Quick Pictorial Review: Super Beast Green #100 006

Well not everyone has seen underneath the lens to see the crystals, since his camera does good macro shots I thought maybe he could take a pic for everyone to see. I dont plan on dropping this laser, but who plans on dropping em? Stuff happens, they can roll off a table, slip from your hands...

    Super Beast Green

On a random note, I checked the divergence and it seems to be around .84 mRads. This was over 40 feet, ugly oval dot but great divergence. This is on the super beast #100 006 with the fat head.

    O-like Blu-ray 400mW 405nm Focusable/Waterproof Laser Review (Picture Heavy)

To help with battery rattling, take a piece of printer paper and cut a strip thats like 3-4in long and as wide as the batterys are stacked long. Roll it up and insert into host, if its not snug cut a longer piece. I did this in my o-like waterproof 200mw 650nm. The spring from the driver was...

Quick Pictorial Review: Super Beast Green #100 006

Since you have a good camera you should remove the black lens bit (the glue is barely holding it, mine spun no problem) and get some good shots of the crystals. I was thinking of epoxying around the metal heatsink/holder for the crystals so its less likely to break loose when dropped. Also great...

Five to ten mw green with ir filter

I dont know how zbolts quality is now but I ordered from em around 5 ($75 for 5mw) years ago and had a green laser that dropping it wouldnt kill it. The crystals are glued into a metal disc (like most greenies) but instead of that disc being glued to the pump diode the diode had a collar that...

    1-1.3 Watt 445nm Host Ass'ys w/Driver and Heat Sink ONLY $50!!

Re: 1-1.2 Watt 445nm Host Ass'ys w/Driver and Heat Sink ONLY $50!! They can discharge greater than their rated capacity quite easily. I have an ecig that uses 2x 3.0v cr123as and while in use its pulling 1.25-1.3amps. Using same batteries for over a year now no problem.

Its most likely the battery, who knows how long they have been sitting around in a warehouse.

    Super Beast Green

Well messed around a bit and managed to get a red match (sharpied) to light after a bit. Using my saftey glasses Ive noticed there is a bit of mode hopping when it turns off but settles down to tem01 after a sec. Never seems to go to a perfect tem00 but whatever. EDIT: Heres a pic without the...

    Super Beast Green

You wont get much burning even when focused, this has a far focal point even without the lens. At 15ft with no lens the dot is only like 3-4in across, so the closest Ive found you can get the focal point is about 1-1.5ft from the aperture. Nice laser for the price, tempted to try and unscrew the...

    Super Beast Green

Well heres a few pics, the top heatsink part unscrews revealing the module. The black bit in the middle of the module is the focusing lens, its really easy to break it loose to adjust focus. The battery is case positive if anyone was wondering. Also it wouldnt be too hard to unscrew the module...

    Super Beast Green

Well it came and after warming up this thing has some oomph, too bad it suffers from being VERY temp sensitive. If its above or below a very specific point it has low output, but when you hit the sweet spot its very bright. Totally worth $28 or so.

    Super Beast Green

Most likely from the temperature of the crystal changing, thus affecting its efficiency. EDIT: Holy god my super beast #100 going to be here tommorow, fast as fuck shipping! Too bad I dont have any 3.6v cr123s I only have 3.0v ones. Oh well, time to slam a few more beers and go to bed and awake...

Survival Laser DIY Host Assembly Photo Tutorial (Picture Heavy)

Its a linear driver, thats how you can have 2 power "modes" via 2x cr123a vs 1x 18650. Would be nice to have a boost driver but its a simple buck driver, works great for what it is. I have a few lying around waiting for time and money to go into a project.
