    Better bang per buck optics?

Yep, Pretty much just want some cubes, mirrors, and Dichro's to mess around with, just don't want to fork out a couple hundered bucks for a few optics, mostly because I wanna try out a RGB, RGV, or RGBV setup, to see whow many colors I could get, and how close I could get to white.

    Attachments and PM's

I thought about it. I was just curious if it was possible, and if not, why not, since we can post attachments to forum posts, aside from the time and effort to code the option in.

    Better bang per buck optics?

What is the better Bang per buck sled or device for getting visible wavelength optics in the 10mm-30mm size range, such as PBS cubes, dichro's, FS mirrors, Beam combiners? Sure I could get some of those parts new but in most cases that option would be rather expensive seeing as PBS cubes that...

    Attachments and PM's

Pretty siple question and suggestion, is there a way to PM .zip attachments, and if not could the option be added?

    Best safety glasses?

Yes, the eagle pair you link from survival lasers are perfect, I own a pair, and they reduce teh amount of photons form the laser by a LOT, I want to say somewhere in the range of 80-90% for the wavelengths specified, but I have no real way to measure, and I don't want to risk ruining them...

    For the 805T , get a 144mA JIb driver.

    Laser for hobby CNC-use?

I found using the "sponge" -> Sponge + Ferric Chloride Method -- Etch PCBs in One Minute! method works suprisingly well. Basicly you place just enough ethcnat in the container with the board and use a sponge or I prefer a sponge brush, to soak up most of the etchant then lightly go over the...

    Hmm... Multimode DIY Driver?

^^^ I suppose that would buy why use 3 variables when you can just use 1 variable, considering the amount of code space and variable / eeprom space on some of the smaller chips using 3 variables seem a bit inefficent plus you have to keep track of 3 instead of 1.

    Red laser white

Not likely with 270mA, phr-805t's usualy LED at 200mA, but it is a blu-ray.

    Red laser white

Where'd you get it from, how much was it, and how much is your output? If you answer ebay, <$20, and you're getting 270mW, you have just made a LOT of people happy, or maybe just me, or maybe just pic's or you just woke up and confused your blue for a red.

    Thor-x

Basicly I'm saying to find a way to mount one of these With a lighter weight battery inside of To be able to do this Not likely to happen if not impossible, but still more or less was joking around.

Whats the best non-smartphone cell phone camera?

Maybe he also just wants a new phone, if you do get a smart phone from else where say sleezbay, DO NOT get a blackberry, I believe you HAVE to have blackberrys "special" data plan to use their phones even as a dumb phone.

    Building a powerful red laser

Crap Yzer beat me to it.... Same as a 10440, 14500, 18500, its 4.2 MAX but averages 3.7V, the only difference is size of cells and how many mAh, and mAh is basicly how many hours that battery will last if that much current is drawn from it. Hopefully this will explain if you don't know...

    New Boost Driver in Dev

Re: New Boost Driver in Dev *Asking for investors* I didn't like the idea of possibly having a spring that might compress too far, and allow the Neg or Positive terminal of the battery to make contact with a components pin, like say the exposed pins or pads of a SMD cap or resistor, or in the...

    Hmm... Multimode DIY Driver?

Well if you look at our once beloved NJG driver,or any of DX multi-mode drivers the heart of the chip is a Micro controller usualy a PIC from http://www.microchip.com/en_US/family/8bit/index.html However you could do it with any micro controller, be it a ST, ATmel, PIC, TI MSP series, just...

    New Boost Driver in Dev

Re: New Boost Driver in Dev *Asking for investors* No problem, I actually looked for them about a month ago to see if I could layout a 3-mode, low voltage detect, 2A boost driver on a 17mm round PCB, it didn't happen, between chip size, pot size, and trying ot fit everything on 1 side it didn't...
