yea, 20x is old news, we want powerful blurays, thats new, so if we cant get that, how about the newer more powerful reds?

there are sooo many other ways to power a laser, and a bunch of much better, hence more expensive, chips than the Lm317's or 7805's you just need an automatic current control circuit (ACC), or APC (automatic power control) circuits, google should lead the way from there, and you gotta have good...

I'm confused after readin the above post three times, but let me show my interpretation: You basically have the Jwin system (there are many of these), and it really sounds like you are plugging the speakers directly into the computer, I doubt this entirely though... seriously, I need more...

consider this, someone else, an ebay guy, has been able to find these things, there are thousands of Ir lasers out there, search hard enough, get enough quotes and maybe you'll be able to get them cheaper than the dude sells them on ebay. but then again, ebay is always cheaper.

well, thats because I couldn't ship it with 2-3week delivery, i thought that was ridiculous, so I paid the extra few bucks and had it shipped with 7-10 day delivery :)

I disagree, red at that power gets old quick, its dangerous, and you can't use it publically at all. an 8mw bluray will look awsome, get more attention, and you will ultimately have more fun with it in public

unfortunately I cannot afford a $500 VLT measuring device, and have yet to find someone with one! :(

it could be simply a better glass lens, compared to those crummy axis-style plastic lens
