    LPM Design: A Beginner's Guide

Yeah, I think Teensy is not beefy enough for the job. But, aren't Maple using STM32F103 running at 72MHz though? I am confused....

    LPM Design: A Beginner's Guide

Hey, Just found this.stm32plus: ILI9481 TFT driver | Andys Workshop And it is doing 15Fps even with debugging code dragging it behind. Without debugging he is getting 40Fps and up.

    LPM Design: A Beginner's Guide

Refresh rate would be an issue. Since we are acquiring at least 50 points of data per second. We need the screen to at least refresh at the rate of 25 to prevent sluggish.

    LPM Design: A Beginner's Guide

I thought Teensy runs at 48Mhz. I am using a generic HX8352 or some sort cheap ebay ones. And of course external ADC that runs at least 50Hz sample rate. But, since you say Teensy is not fast enough. I might think about it more before I invest major time in it. Do you have any experience with...

It depends on schools. For ours, there's just ECE.

    LPM Design: A Beginner's Guide

I saw that on your YouTube channel. One thing about it is too expensive. I am thinking about using Teensy3.0, it's half the price and runs decently fast. and with some touchscreen lcd. Since Arduino library can be ported directly. onto Teensy.

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! Update!!........First light!! I thought about it before, and I realized that it is a fairly easy mod. Just replace headers with ribbon cable and you are good to go.

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! I updated some more pics to show the BT module in place and working. And no, I am not using an ASIC. It will be too expensive.

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! Update!!........First light!! Maybe If I got the time to build them. Once I got everything working, I can just edit the silk screen easily in Eagle.

Re: LPM In a Cube!! Update!!........First light!! I know It looks ugly that the silk screen is just jam together like that. I certainly can use smash. I am just too lazy. :p

    A desktop-size 10 TW laser

The way they do it is threw non-linear optics. They first expand the pulse into wider bandwidth and then they amplify across the whole band. Since the intensity is lower, it is easier to amplify without frying anything. After amplification they compress the beam into original bandwidth and the...

Need an LPM for measuring less than .7mw of 780nm ??

Personally I won't recommend Coherent Laserzcheck. There are several reports of inconsistent and inaccurate readings and possibly corrupted calibration data that was stored in the internal EEPROM. As for the price, sometimes they will show up on Ebay for around $150.

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! Update.....10/6/2013 The OLED is just a nice feature to have. But my main goal of this backpack is actually doing everything over Bluetooth. And all the data will be nice and big on the tablets or smartphone. And all the command can be sent over Bluetooth.

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! Update.....10/6/2013 I set the text to be about 4mm in size. For me it is pretty good since the limited space of the diaplay. And these are not LCD. They are monochrome OLED display.
