Man that 5% difference sure is alot when i use my DX laser! A painful bright dot turns into something more like a 60W light bulb.. But I never thought it was letting so much light through! You can atleast agree that its better than nothin, even if only slightly better ?/

You won't be dissapointed with the DX 200mw for the price! At one foot away it burns ME! .. well more like a pinprick of pain, but don't let it burn you for long, it'll cook a spot on ya! I can't really get the thing to burn through electrical tape easily however, with just NiMHs.

Mine does the exact same thing! Its the Deal Extreme 200mw but its probably kickin out about 50 steadily, the first 0.4 secs it is bright then goes dim and stays that way. It doesn't seem to be mode hopping because it is always just one dot. I have tried many different batteries as well .. so...

I usually wait till I see nothing in the sky.. sometimes there are helicopters and crap buzzing about all over, wouldn't want one of them landing and takin away my laser! :P
