    Experimental Setup

I'm a little confused as to what you're trying to say... Are you asking for people to donate/lend diodes?

    350mw red Nitrox laser

Way to necro a 6 month old tread... First off, all your posts(at this point) have been about Nitroxlasers. Start contributing instead of stirring up old sh!t. Secondly, quit being a necro, you have made your point. If you search around here, there have been several complaints about people not...

Has anyone attempted to build a maser before?

A klystron is similar to vacuum tubes; the less you run it, the more air will leach inside. This can cause premature filament failure or(in some cases) catastrophic failure of the tube. If you want to keep that klystron in working condition, you should probably run it once a year.

Has anyone attempted to build a maser before?

Is that klystron made by varian? If so, those are worth quite a bit of money($1300USD or so).

    Craziest Thing You've Ever Done

The stupidest thing I've done involves 308 cartridges and a pellet rifle(You can probably imagine what happened). Second stupidest thing was pulling 3 all-nighters in a row(without caffeine), then proceeding to drive 50km home. Third stupidest thing was attempting to steal a fire...

The let out your aggression thread

I'm sick of stupid noobs who constantly want to be spoon fed. The answers to 80% of their questions can be had just by reading the stickies. To stupid noobs out there: USE THE FUCKING SEARCH BUTTON... [/rant] On a softer note, I feel it's also worth mentioning how annoyed I've gotten trying...

5mW Blu-Ray Laser Pointer from DX - Detailed Review

T_J - The people that have been "razzed" are the useless 10 post wonders who spam their referral link in hopes of getting free stuff. Styro is a contributing member, if he uses some of the points to buy and review more lasers, thus contributing to the community; I don't see anything wrong...

    Need US middleman

There's an item on ebay I want but the seller only ships to American addresses. Would anyone be interested in helping me receive and redirect the item? You will be compensated well ;) The seller is in Ohio so anyone in surrounding states is preferred. Please PM

    FS:Laserglow Aries 150

Up for sale is a practically unused Aries 150. I purchased this laser from laserglow's "garage sale". The laser has been repaired and "re-bodied" and is still under warranty(there's about 2 months left). It's in immaculate condition with a maximum of 10 minutes of use(Mostly power testing)...

    Dragonlasers vs Skylasers

A beam is visible even with something as diminutive as 5mW; no fog or smoke needed.

    Dragonlasers vs Skylasers

OP - You might better off with an "el-cheapo" green laser if you're only after a visible beam and general "pointing around". If you read around the green lasers section, there's a good selection of cheap lasers in your power range. IMO, buying a "premium quality" greenie under 50mw is somewhat a...

    Questions about computer PSU

I've recently been looking around for a 12V power supply that outputs 40-50 amps. Seeing that commercially made SPSs are not cheap, I've settled on using a computer PSU(Probably in the 650-700W range). I've noticed that most of the computer PSUs have 2-3 12v rails; unfortunatly the individual...

    Ban Hidrogen?

I think he might be back. There were 2-3 accounts created within less than 2 hours(of banning) that bore his "playing stupid" signature...

    Toys for your motorcycles

Firstly, quit spamming the boards... Secondly, 90% of your stuff is for "ricers", I don't see much for Harleys or Victorys...
