    Perfect advice. I can't believe I didn't think about red at all. I use a red flashlight while viewing my star maps, so that makes total sense. Thanks again Chaos!

    Are 445 nm lasers good for star pointing? Also, have any of you ever tried pointing with a high powered laser before? I read somewhere that high powered lasers can increase sky glow and make celestial viewing worse. Thanks

    Looking for 1W Blue (450nm) handheld laser

    I agree about Sci-Fi Lasers. They look really impressive and have awesome ratings. I think I might check out Sci-Fi for a 445 and 532.
