I would go with Jetlaser. Wicked Laser charges way to much for their lasers and I heard the shipping times are terrible. You're also taking a chance with quality if you go with WL. You may get a laser that breaks after a few uses or you may get one that lasts you a long time. Go with Jetlaser

Still not worth the risk. No matter what I would advise wearing safety glasses with lasers above 5mw.

I would recommend starting out with a DIY kit from Survival Laser. That will help you get a basic understanding of some of the things that make up a laser. After that try looking in the tutorial section on LPF for some building tutorials & stuff like that. Good luck.

How visible is 405nm? Like at 100mw.

I would but I already have a nice 650nm laser and I don't have much money right now to spend on a expensive green pointer. So is it like randomly between 10-50 mw?
