I personally have only had good experiences with rayfoss...but my confidence is deteriorating as it seems they are slowly going downhill.

I could ignite matches with my oldstyle one from about 4/5 feet away no sharpie on it!

are you spamming for yotang if not then you should know that yotang has underpowered lasers if you dont want to spend a ton go with rayfoss and get a little lower power.

I would go with rayfoss and red lasers dont have IR in them so you shouldn't have to worry about that...only DPSS lasers have IR.

Copper would be your best bet!

You could use one 10440 with a spacer! or take a chance by using two but they put out about 3.7 volts and might break your laser. they are the same size as a AAA if you use unprotected ones!
