Hey everyone, RESISTOR PROBLEM FIXED!! PHOTO'S UNDERNEATH! I am having trouble identifying which way round this resistor goes.. I know it's a 680ohm but which is top and which is bottom? Cheers.

There is always going to be a massive difference between a properly calibrated ophir head and a laserbee with a wafer thermopile due to response time. The ophir has a response time of under a second whereas the LB has a response time of 35-40 seconds. So by the time you have finished your test...

That should work but I would advise against it. Even touching the actual platter will cause damage. Try to find a data recovery service in your area and they will be able to take the info off the platters and put it on something else for you. Also, you mean Hard Disk Drive yeah? HDD? Not a Hairy...
