    Donating to LPF

I forgot to mention that there is no need to be sarcastic, since believe me - I have a good knowledge about these things :) It's a simple question, no offense intended.

    Donating to LPF

Can someone explain why the server costs 400 USD monthly? I've been running several web-servers and game-servers past few years as my main job, and I know few things about it but I simple cannot understand what's going on here. Leaving that, what about so many advertisements? Do you or do you...

DIY 473nm / FRANKEN-TEK B&W Transplant To Handheld With TEC

I need your help, I've disassembled the same 473nm module to it's parts and I was unable to get even a single photon of 473nm light using different permutations of "facing" with yag/yvo4 - lbo. My question would be: Does both crystals have to be set at some temperature in order to even work? Or...

    473 nm and moving crystals...

I have disassembled 473nm laser and tried later to align crystals again - couldn't get a single photon of 473nm anymore, assembling and aligning crystals for 532 is nothing compared to this one :P I haven't given up hope yet, out of time though.

    Donating to LPF

Sorry for offtopic but with post I only mean to help you: According to traceroute the server is located in hosting company called firehost.com, so I've checked their offer at Configure Your Secure Server | FireHost and to my knowledge you are wasting a lot of money for nothing (unless I'm...

FS: Kenometer USB with display - $300 + shipping/pp fees

If you can wait I might be willing to get it for that money (few days, top of a week), shipping to Poland. I will let you know when I will be sure. Anyway, would it be possible for you to show us inside of that kenometer? I mean take pictures how it looks inside the box (electronics) because...

    WTB: LPM with thermopile head

Thanks for the answer but hey, 0.1V per 1 Watt means that resolution is 1mW = 100uV: 0.1V = 100mV 1W = 1000mW 0.1 / 1000 = 0,0001 = 100uV Therefore to have resolution of 1mW I need to be able to read properly uV and as we all know it's really hard to get any voltage meter capable of that. The...

    WTB: LPM with thermopile head

Thanks guy, however I've got some questions regarding this head: According to datasheet this one is optimized for CO2 lasers, does it mean it can "lie" about output of let's say 405nm laser? As far as I know wavelength shouldn't matter for non-photodiode based sensors. Calibration: 0.1 Volts...

    WTB: LPM with thermopile head

Hey guys, I was looking for some kind of LPM with serious thermopile head just like nospin's LPM but there is a small problem with that one, nospin last activity: 03-15-2012 so I hardly see him answering PM not to mention selling one. I'm not really interested in laserbee so right now I'm...

    eBay 532nm 300mW & 500mW modules..

It's a hand-held module so output is highly unstable due to temperature variation and it costs 320 bucks so I can't really find it worth the money :P You can find awesome 500mW 532nm lab module for about 400 bucks in ebay too: 500mw 532nm Green Laser Module w/h dual Thermoelectric Cooling & TTL...

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Thank you, I'm really glad you did it for me. I'm going go for M140 then however I'm still thinking whatever I should get diodes from DTR (love this guy) or buy that projector.

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Quite close but no, I was making sure that the XJ is the only series we are talking about - I didn't know if out there are different series than XJ or not. Anyway - thanks for your time, hope you didn't waste too much of it answering my idiotic question. Anyone knows how many diodes may...

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

I have no idea why I just did that, however I'm following your tips - changed to K@sio.

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Guys that was kind of simple question but I will make it even simpler: M140 we are talking here is K@sio XJ-M140? I'm making sure before buying this one or XJ-A140.

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

Hey guys, can someone confirm that the m140 we are talking about here is actually K@sio XJ-M140? I'm going to buy one and I need to make sure to choose good one (laser diodes). Just for the record: K@sio XJ-M140 is cheaper than K@sio XJ-A150 here (about 300 bucks difference) and I hope the...
