The further from 20 you go the worse your vision is considered. 20/20 and 20/15 are very very similar. The only difference between the two is that with 20/15 you have two focus distances rather than one. I don't think I can explain that any "less medical". -Mike

I my opinion it is either: A PHR and the rated power if false or it could be a SF diode from the other 6x sled. Nothing else matches the price close enough. If it was a real nichia with a rated power that high, I would want to see a spec sheet and not take a sellers word for it. -Mike

Glenn has the 6x sleds for $61 at the moment. I am not sure of their maximum output but I have mine set to 196mA (250mW w/ 405-G-1 lens approx~). Typically members run them from 175mA to 210mA. -Mike

I had 20/20 until I broke my face. 4 titanium plates and 12 screws later it improved to 20/15 *shrug* @bobhaha - 20/350 is very possible. It gets much worse then that! -Mike

If the host uses 2 AA batteries just rewire the battery holder to make one of the holders "blank" and use it to keep a spare battery. There you go a 4.2v (overcharged) power supply for your host. -Mike
