Hey Jeff on these test loads I have a question. If the load has the switch will it work for reds as well?

Just in case anyone wanted to know why scorpions fluoresce. Proteins in their exoskeletons convert the UV into visible light with a blue hue (although the little buggers around here fluoresce green). Scorpions will also fluoresce under moon light due to the UV it reflects. I'll have to check...

DTR I've had a few test loads magically unsolder on Me while setting high current for a 445, and for some reason the drivers really hate to be run without a load..huh imagine that. This load will save Me some money in fried drivers.:D

NO!!! A PHR will never be bright enough to see in daylight. You will need a 100mW+ Green module or a multi-watt 445 to be visible in the day time. Even a 405nm at 700mW probably won't be visible in a brightly lit room.

Yep they are much bigger to handle more current. Just solder them to each other in a chain as that's what I did.

Is the NJG-18 a boost driver? If so I'll throw in the host & heatsink which will require 3x10440s & 1x18500.

You can use the 1n5402s with the 1n5404s with no problems. As far as replacing the 1n4001s I see no issue with it.
