There is no reflector or mirror on the moon , it's a Retroreflector and they sent light back in the same angle and not reflect like a mirror

You can turn the pot a little up but that will give the diode a lifetime of maybe 10 hours. So just buy a high power diode and driver.

Depens 30 mW for 15 pound is way to much money , but that means it's probably doing 30mW or MORE ! 30mW is not impressive but makes a nice brigh beam and dot but let's see the pictures and some beamshots :) greetings
